lol. I play games as much for the story as the actual gaming... I think it's awsome to see the breathtaking commercial scenes and stuff. Those Battlefield 1942 commecials (or whatever it's called) are amazing and seriously make me want to go buy the game... Or a time machine so I can go fight in WW2

Meh if I want something for story, I rent a movie, if I want something for gameplay, I play a game...sure storyline is cool and all, but aren't we forgetting what a game really is?

Well some games have both, for example Halo 1, and when developers can pull that off, (though it is rare), those games are extremely successful. Metal Gear Series, Half-Life, Resident Evil; all very successful series. FEAR also does it, but in a unique way. I just beat FEAR, by the way, and I have to admit I was pretty freaked by the end. It's one of those endings that leave you hanging, like the very last sentence sets it up for a sequel and lets you know there's a much bigger plot than the one you just went through. I don't want to give it away, but at the end...there's this explosion...it's unbelieveable. FEAR looks like a movie but puts plot into it that wouldn't work in a movie, but is perfect for the game. My point: FEAR is just a generally cool game. It's the only word for it.

Lol, I've beaten it on your ownage comp, and you're nowhere on it, you really should get into it...especially with your system.

I played F.E.A.R for awhile and thought it was pretty good..Though i'd have to say I like the online play a lot more then most FPS online games.. Shooting the top of doorways so the dust goes down and blinds your enemies as you toss a grenade at them is pretty fun. Story is also pretty fricken intense..best A.I. I ever went up against.. Compared to the drone aliens in Halo 2.."AHH GRENADE"*flails arms* You know it.

this game is great(yea i went out and bought it) oh and by the way i think my pc owns dubroys but anyway the game is really good and the online play is awsome too, i was playing online with teroke today.
